Jump into fall at Pumpkin Splash

Post Date:09/25/2017 5:00 p.m.

Come enjoy fall in Sedona at the annual Pumpkin Splash on Sunday, Oct. 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. The Sedona Community Pool will be home to 300 pumpkins ready for the picking, right out of the water. There will be swimming, organized games on deck with prizes, pumpkin decorating, bobbing for apples, a giant sling shot challenge, treats for sale, goodie bags, and at the end, a pumpkin for everyone participating to take home. Enjoy Trunk-Or-Treat, by SummitLIFE, featuring decorated car trunks outside the gates of the pool from which kids can safely trick or treat between 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This unique event is fun for all ages and is limited to the first 300 participants. Everyone entering the pool facility, adults and children alike, will be charged $5, which includes a pumpkin to take home. Note that all non-swimmers must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Special thanks to our event sponsors, APS, Arizona Water Company and Red Rock Dental, and our event partners, SummitLIFE and Aletheia of Sedona.

Tickets for Pumpkin Splash go on sale Oct. 2. Those interested can purchase tickets by calling or visiting the Parks and Recreation Department at 525 Posse Ground Rd. near the tennis courts at Posse Grounds Park.
