Pushing PumpkinsSplash Pad: Has closed for the season.  Sunset Park still has plenty of fun equipment to play on.  More information.

Yo-Yo Class:  Magical Michael Steele is back with his fun yo-yo class.  Every Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Recreation Room at Posse Grounds Park.  This class is appropriate for ages 8 and older.  More information.

Red Dirt Concert Series: October 12 and 26.  Free concerts at the beautiful pavilion starting at 5 p.m.  Each night offers two different performances.  Oct 12, Zoot Suit Zebras and Tommy Rocks the Beatles.  Oct 26, Eric Nelson and J Bad and the Witness Protection Band.  More information.

Pumpkin Splash: Mark your calendars now to purchase tickets for this memorable event.  Tickets will go on sale, Monday, October 8, at the Parks and Recreation office, or over the phone at 928-282-7098.  The event will take place on Saturday, October 20 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  It’s a pumpkin patch in the water, games and Trunk or Treat!  More information.

Grasshopper Basketball: This fun youth basketball program is for boys and girls in grades 1-6.  While the league games do not begin until January, registration is from October 22 to November 8.  Volunteer coaches are needed to make this league possible.  Great experience for kids!  More information.

cloudy sky with tractorAZ Cyclocross Series: Register now for this second time event in Sedona. Ride, run and jump in this cross racer experience for entrants nine and older.   This event will be held October 27 at Posse Grounds Park.  More information.

Trick or Treat: October 31, Halloween, bring your family into uptown Sedona for trick or treating from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Catch the show of Thriller Zombique showing every half hour beginning at 6 p.m. on Jordan Road.  Please note: there is no costume contest at this event.  More information.

Bike Skills Park Maintenance: Our awesome bike park needs weekly maintenance.  Volunteers are appreciated and encouraged to donate a few hours alongside staff to work on the trails.  Please let us know if you would like to help.  More information.

Facilities Available:  Know the park amenities that are available to you.  Rental space for birthday parties, meetings, classes, performing arts and all sorts of reasons.  Picnic ramadas are available at two parks.  Our Recreation Room is waiting and ready.  The Pavilion and Hub are bookable for your performing arts needs and even the community pool can be rented.  Check us out and reserve a venue that works for you.  More information.
