Thunder Mountain Rd.  The city council directed staff to proceed with design for drainage improvements and a shared use path for Thunder Mountain Road between Coffee Pot and Rhapsody roads. The design work will include many opportunities for neighborhood and resident input.

Tlaquepaque crossing. In mid-July, the city council will hear cost estimates and a recommended option for the pedestrian crossing solution on SR179 at Tlaquepaque. The options are: underpass, overpass, a shared-use creekside path beneath the existing Oak Creek bridge, and maintaining the current at-grade crossing with additional pedestrian control measures.

Forest Road extension approved

Last month the city council chose Design Option 1 for the Forest Road extension and directed inclusion of a sidewalk and bike lane, or shared-use bike/walk pathway. Images of the general alignment selected by city council are posted on the Forest Road web page
