Sign Code Update

The City of Sedona's Community Development Department is currently working on an update to the City's Sign Ordinance (Article 11 of the Land Development Code). This Article of the Land Development Code sets the standards for all signage throughout the City and has not undergone a complete update in approximately 20 years. As a part of this process, the City welcomes feedback from the community. Please take time to review the Draft Revised Sign Code and fill out the accompanying worksheet. These documents are available online at www.sedonaaz.gov/ldc. Your feedback is important to us and the eventual outcomes.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to review this item as a work session item on February 7, 2017, with a public hearing tentatively scheduled for March 7, 2017. A work session with City Council is tentatively scheduled for April 26, 2017. In order to meet this schedule, Staff is requesting that completed worksheets be received by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. The City of Sedona is updating its Land Development Code (LDC) which contains the rules for development and re-development within the City. The City has contracted with the consulting team, Clarion Associates, to overhaul the 20-year-old LDC. Short Term Rental Regulations Amended

On October 11, 2016 City Council amended the Short Term Rental Regulation (Chapter 5.25 of the City Code).
