The Sedona Magistrate performs wedding ceremonies in the Sedona Municipal Court.
When: Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon, and from 1 to 3 p.m. It is best to call in advance and make an appointment. You may, however, bring two adult witnesses, your valid Arizona marriage license and wait until the judge has a break in the regularly scheduled court hearings at which time he will be available to perform the ceremony. There is no charge for this service.
Scheduled court hearings have priority over all other matters and because we are unable to predict the length of the hearings, we are unable to guarantee that the ceremony will be performed at the precise time scheduled.
The court is sometimes able to provide adult witnesses for a ceremony during regular court hours. Please call the court for more information.
Sedona Municipal Court does not issue marriage licenses. You must contact one of the county superior courts to obtain a marriage license.
