Parks and Recreation brings to you, Arizona Science Center Summer Camp!Animals

Arizona Science Center's CAMP INNOVATION provides informal STEM-based programs featuring fun and engaging science exploration.

  • $150 per child. 
  • Grades 1-6, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Grades 7-9, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Recreation Room at Posse Grounds Park 
  • July 16-20 (Registration deadline July 2).
  • Animal Superheroes (Grades 1-6) 
  •  Junior Veterinarian  (Grades 7-9)

Registration is accepted through the Parks and Recreation Department at (928) 282-7098 or walk in at 525 Posse Ground Road (near the tennis courts).                                                                                                            

Class Descriptions

Animal Superheroes (Grades 1-6) Discover biomechanics. Campers will meet animals with truly super powers like cellular regenerations, invisibility, night vision and hyper speed. But how do they do it? What does it take to be an animal superhero?

Junior Veterinarian (Grades 7-9) Learn the basics of veterinary medicine. Campers will meet experts, live animals, and learn about veterinary technician careers. From hawks to snakes to pet cats, there's a lot humans can do to help our animal friends.
