Private Guitar Lessons, $25/30 min or $50/60 min.
Basics of Guitar, $80/Student, 4 week session.
Beginning Contemporary Rock & Pop Guitar, $80/Student, 4 week session.
Student must provide a playable guitar and guitar pick (Classical, Acoustic or Electric Guitars welcome).
Classes held on Wednesdays.

Guitar Basics 101, Wednesdays, January 9-23, 5-6 p.m. FREE, 3 week beginning guitar class that teaches you the basics of playing the guitar, including how to hold the guitar, tuning, guitar parts, how to use a pick, open chords and diagrams, playing single strings, and how to read guitar tablature. You will be playing songs by the second class.
Private Guitar Lessons, Wednesdays, Beginning January 9. Private, one-on-one guitar lessons that cover anything the student would like to study. Beginners through advanced players are welcome. Call instructor Matt Hennager, (818) 427-6870 to register for private lessons.

Beginning Contemporary Rock & Pop Guitar, Wednesdays, 4 week session. February 6-27 and March 6-27, 2019. 7-8 p.m. 4 week beginning guitar class, teaches you popular songs suggested by the teacher; students may request songs to learn. You will be focusing on power chords, introductions to bar chords, learning guitar tablature and resources to learn songs on the internet. You will need a playable guitar, guitar pick and CAPO. Prerequisite: You must be able to play the following chords comfortably: C,A, G, E, D, C7, A7, G7, E7, D7, B7, A minor, E minor & D minor.
Matt Hennager has been a professional guitarist for over 30 years. Originally from Southern California, Matt has performed or recorded with Ritchie Havens, Marla Glenn, Jim Brickman and many other. Matt is well versed in many styles including rock, metal, jazz, blues, pop, folk, country, finger picking, classical, funk, R&B, surf and rhythm playing and improvising in all styles. He is an honors graduate of the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, CA.
Matt's experience as a studio and performing guitarist with over 30 years teaching experience makes him an ideal choice for beginners, dedicated professionals looking to improve their musical skills or guitar enthusiasts who would like to improve. Matts favorite subjects include sight reading, improvising/soloing, music theory, songwriting, rhythm guitar and music school prep.
