Join Lena for a creative movement class for ages 5-8 years old! We will be dancing, acting, and working on strength, balance, and cooperation in creative ways. We will also be exploring our connection to the natural world, and stretching our imagination and bodies. Each week there will be a theme, such as balance or rhythm, which we will explore in multiple ways, using our bodies, voices and minds. We will be developing age appropriate skills throughout the class. Skills include: forward rolls, various balance postures, and of course, the ability to fully inhabit our bodies, and be lead in movement by that connection.
