POP is a new offering from the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department

During the designated times, both the East and West tennis courts at Posse Grounds Park are reserved for Pickleball Organized Play.
This is a FREE program open to the public and all levels of players are welcome.   The code to the pickleball lockbox is 1985

 

Program Rules:

  • Courts may be closed at any time due to safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Athletic shoes with non-marking soles are required. Ensure shoes are dry and free from dirt.
  • The following items are not permitted:
    • animals, except for ADA service animals, on the courts
    • attaching items to fence, light poles, nets, or shade awnings
    • bicycles, skateboards, scooters, or other wheeled recreational devices 
    • food, gum, or drink, except water
    • glass containers
    • personal sound systems
    • sitting or leaning on the nets

Code of Conduct:

  • Be courteous and considerate to the players on the adjoining court(s).
  • For your safety please inspect the court conditions before the start of play.
  • Proper court etiquette, attire (shirt & shoes), and sportsmanship are expected:
    • Participant will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so.
    • Participant will not engage in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety, or wellbeing of others.
    • Participant will not engage in the use of obscene language or gestures.
    • Participant will treat others with respect.
    • Participant will exhibit fairness and honesty in dealings with others.
    • Participant will support City of Sedona Parks and Recreation policies, procedures, plans and initiatives.
    • Participant will accept responsibility for own actions.
    • Participant will exemplify the highest standard in ethical behavior and fair play.
    • Participant will engage in conduct that is free from fear, discrimination, abuse, and harassment.
