Presented by SCORE and the Yavapai College Small Business Development Center (SBDC), this course will discuss the often-misunderstood issues of exempt/nonexempt, independent contractors, overtime calculation for multiple pay rates or piece rates, comp time, travel time, payment at termination, and more. Business owners, bookkeepers, and others involved in paying employees are encouraged to attend.
