Sedona Police Department Local PSPRS Board
Purpose
The PSPRS Local Board administers the pension system for the Sedona Police Department and follows the rules of the PSPRS system and Arizona Revised Statutes. Additionally, the Local Board makes decisions for Sedona police officers on issues such as membership into the system and approving retirements and service purchase requests.

Per PSPRS Local Board regulations, the Sedona PD Local PSPRS Board consists of five board members and an appointed secretary.
Board Meetings
Meetings are scheduled as needed but are required at least twice a year by state statute. Scheduled meetings are typically held on the first Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. All meetings are held at City Hall during regular city business hours. Meeting agendas and minutes are posted on the city website and meetings are conducted under Arizona Open Meeting Law.
