What we do

• Manage and maintain city streets and facilities for the benefit of Sedona residents and visitors.
• Ensure the safety, sound operation and protection of city assets through right-of-way maintenance and traffic improvements, safety and quality inspections, drainage improvements, conducting reviews and issuing permits, and supporting emergency preparedness and response. 
• Plan and build new facilities for the use and enjoyment of residents including capital improvement projects such as flood control structures, parks and wastewater facilities, and accessibility improvements.
• Protect the environment by ensuring protection of the Oak Creek watershed, monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations and educating the public.
