Sedona buildings and Thunder Mountain in the background tourism

Sedona’s official Destination Marketing and Management Organization (DMMO)

In July of 2023, the City became the official DMMO for Sedona, as recognized by the Arizona Office of Tourism. City staff immediately launched the Tourism Program to meet the unique needs and challenges of Sedona's tourism economy, while balancing it with resident quality of life. Since then, the program hired new staff, developed a tourism website, executed off-season marketing campaigns, and engaged consultants to develop a brand identity, tourism marketing plan, and tourism strategic plan.

Sedona Tourism Plan 2024-2025

The Sedona Tourism Plan outlines goals, objectives and tasks for the Tourism Program over the next eighteen months through the end of calendar year 2025. It includes stewardship and management, community engagement and economic vitality while encouraging responsible visitation.
