  1. Navigate to Arizona Broadband Navigator (https://az.broadbandnavigator.com/map?zoom=14&center=-12444801%2C4145254)

  2. Using the map tools, pan and zoom to your address. A red dot over your address is not served, yellow is underserved, green is served. A speed of 150/8 Mbps is considered underserved due to the 8 Mbps upload.

  3. Click the dot on your address. On the left you’ll see your information. Served, or a green dot, is considered served, and will not receive BEAD funding unless successfully challenged.

  4. Under the “Connectivity Hub,” you may take a speed test, or report a service issue (also considered a challenge). Click the “Take a Speed Test” to submit a speed test claim or click “Report Service Issue” to report an issue. Three separate speed tests on three separate days must be submitted for the challenge. Speed tests should be taken during the worse time/connectivity of the day.

When taking a test, you should be on a hard wired connection (a cable that plugs into your computer rather than WiFi), not have anyone on your residence downloading video or gaming, not be on a VPN (Virtual Private Network, if you don’t know what that is, odds are you’re not on one).

Follow the on screen prompts and complete the fields/questions as prompted.
