Donate Volunteer Merchandise
The Sedona Trails & Pathways System (ST&PS, say “steps”) is a city-wide network of non-motorized, shared-use pathways that are used by bicyclists, walkers, hikers, runners, and other users for both recreation and transportation. This does not include forest trails.
At present there are about 4.5 miles of ST&PS in Sedona. The overall master plan shows about 36 miles of future trails and pathways. Pathways with high levels of traffic are expected to be concrete and those with lower levels of traffic are expected to be a stabilized decomposed granite surface. ST&PS pathways are generally eight or ten feet in width.
Range of Experience
ST&PS trails and pathways will offer an incredibly diverse range of experiences; some will be located along busy streets, while others will traverse the beautiful natural landscape - all within the urban area of Sedona. The system will connect neighborhoods, shopping, places of employment, schools, parks, open space, and the surrounding National Forest, and allow users to combine transportation, recreation and contact with nature.
