Project Status: The Planning and Zoning Commission approved this project on October 16, 2018. This approval was appealed to the City Council on October 31, 2018. The City Council heard the appeal hearing on January 23, 2019 and voted unanimously to deny the appeal, upholding the Planning and Zoning Commission's approval of the project.

Council's decision was appealed to the Coconino County Superior Court. In April 2021, the Court remanded the matter back to the City. The Planning and Zoning Commission re-approved this item on May 18, 2021 and City Council re-approved this item on September 29, 2021

On December 7, 2021, the Court vacated its order from April 2021 and ruled in favor of the plaintiff, vacating the CUP approval.

On October 6, 2022, the Arizona Court of Appeals reversed the Superior Court's decision and reinstated the CUP.
